Hunter deserves it!  Everyone wants to wear your stuff, and now they can!”, declared Jessica Simpson, who was mentor to Fashion Star winner Hunter Bell.

After creating and presenting a three-ensemble capsule collection for each of the reality competition’s three retail partners — Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue and Express — which meant nine ensembles total, Bell’s collection was chosen over competitors Cassandra Hobbins, who finished second, and Daniel Silverstein, who finished third.
The final decision being made by clothing buyers Erika DeSalvatore of Express Terron E. Schaefer of Saks,  and Caprice Willard of Macy’s.
For winning Fashion Star, Hunter received $3,000,000 in orders for the collections she created for Macy’s, Saks and Express and the collection became available for online purchase at the retailers websites immediately after NBC concluded the show.
